Job summary

St. Paul’s Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled QMA to join our healthcare team. The QMA will administer medications, monitor residents, assist with ADLs, and ensure a safe, comfortable living environment.

Requirements include Indiana QMA certification, experience in long-term care preferred, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. We offer a supportive team and meaningful work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medication administration practices.
• Knowledge of resident care standards and state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to serve seniors.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers.
• Monitor residents for health changes and report to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and care activities.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Support nursing staff in emergencies and urgent care.
• Foster a warm, respectful environment for residents and families.
