Job summary

The Meadows Assisted Living in Atmore, AL is seeking a PRN Resident Care Aide to support residents with daily living tasks under nursing supervision. This on-site role offers flexible PRN scheduling and the chance to work closely with seniors in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with ability to read/write English and follow instructions; prior care experience or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Previous resident care experience or completion of an appropriate training program preferred.
• Dependable and compassionate approach to resident care.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to work with elderly residents.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, personal care, and other daily needs.
• Assist residents to and from meals, activities, and other areas of the facility.
• Provide assistance during dining and meal service.
• Observe residents and report changes or concerns to nursing personnel.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
• Treat every resident with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion.
• Perform additional resident care duties as directed by nursing personnel.
