Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Resident Assistant for Assisted Living on a PRN, part-time basis in Illinois. Responsibilities include helping residents with daily living activities, transporting them to events and meals, and responding to emergencies with attention to safety.

This role supports care plans and may involve vital signs and monitoring. A HS diploma is required, CPR is preferred, and experience with the elderly is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in activities of daily living (e.g., grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment).
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
