Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a PRN caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming and personal care, in a supportive senior living environment.

You will help transport residents to activities and meals, respond to emergencies, and follow care plans while taking vital signs as needed. Prior elderly care experience and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
• Review and adhere to resident care plans, as well as obtaining vital signs
