Job summary

Amaray Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide physical care and emotional support to clients unable to fully care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.

The role includes light housekeeping, driving clients to appointments, meal preparation, and personal care. You will also provide companionship to promote independence and quality of life, while maintaining dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Requires compassionate, dependable caregiving and respect for clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• TB test/PPD within past year or chest X-ray in past 5 years.
• Able to transfer, reposition and lift clients using a Hoyer Lift.
• Morning and evening shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping and run errands.
• Drive clients to appointments and other errands.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and purchase groceries.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities (toileting, bathing, grooming).
• Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Support emotional well-being and independence.
