Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Care Medical Assistant to support Mercy Primary Care Providers in delivering safe, timely, and patient-centered care. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards as part of a collaborative clinical team.

The MA will participate in clinic processes, training, and ongoing quality initiatives, working closely with patients and staff to ensure accurate documentation and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic

Responsibilities

• Partner with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with care team to drive quality outcomes for patients.
• Attend MA Clinic Academy training per requirements.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service within the care team.
