Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering patient-centered care and improving residents’ functional outcomes.

In this role, you will administer prescribed exercises and modalities, monitor progress, educate families, and maintain a safe therapy environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to restore independence and mobility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents and their families on home exercise programs and safety precautions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to residents.
