Job summary

Kadima at Campbelltown is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our care team in a supportive environment. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist residents in mobility, strength, balance, and functional goals.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, guiding exercises, documenting progress, and educating residents and families on home programs, while maintaining a safe, compliant therapy space and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license/certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain on hire).

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document patient treatments, responses, and progress accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and treatment goals.
• Maintain treatment equipment and ensure a clean, safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
