Qualifications

• CA CPT1 license required.
• CPT2 license required within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Displays care and compassion for patients and visitors.
• Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently.
• Properly identifies patients before collecting specimens.
• Uses LIS/EMR to manage specimens and orders.
• Maintains orderliness and sanitary conditions in the lab.
• Communicates any unusual situations to the lab team.
