Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Basic Life Support - CPR within 90 days.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 months phlebotomy in an acute care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection and specimen processing via capillary or venipuncture across all ages.
• Ensure specimen integrity, proper disposal, and timely distribution to testing areas.
• Handle clerical duties and maintain patient comfort while adhering to turnaround times.
• Practice positive patient identification, courtesy, and clear communication within the department.
