Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required).
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy internship or 12-24 months experience.

Responsabilités

• Verify patient demographics, confirm orders, verify tests, obtain billing information, enter data in systems.
• Explain procedures to patients and build trust during direct contact.
• Collect blood samples by venipuncture/capillary, label and process for laboratory analysis.
• Read and comply with hospital and lab policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure high level of customer service and accurate specimen handling.
