Job summary

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor. You will use a state-of-the-art handheld computer to ensure patient safety and support laboratory services for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients.

To be successful, you must have completed an accredited phlebotomy program with national certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and patient handling required.
• Certification preferred but not required for all positions.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis under supervision.
• Use handheld computer to ensure patient safety and accuracy.
• Support lab services for outpatient, inpatient, surgery and ED patients.
