Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a formal Phlebotomy training program is preferred.
• National certification (ASCP, AMT, NHA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood collection for patients of all ages.
• Verify patient identity and accurate specimen labeling.
• Explain procedures clearly and provide reassurance to patients.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Accession specimens accurately and maintain specimen integrity.
