Job summary

Keystone Health's Keystone Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The role supports pharmacists in providing safe, accurate, and efficient services while delivering exceptional customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, handling insurance, stocking meds, and maintaining a compliant pharmacy environment. A High school diploma or GED is required; PA licensure is preferred; CPR certification and a PA driver's license are also needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PA Registered Pharmacy Technician preferred; Pharmacy Technician Trainees will be considered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Pennsylvania's driver's license with a good driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions by entering prescription information, counting medications, labeling containers, and preparing prescriptions for pickup.
• Receive written, electronic, and refill prescription requests while maintaining accurate patient and prescription records.
• Process insurance claims, verify payments, and operate the cash register.
• Order, receive, stock, and maintain pharmacy medications, supplies, and over-the-counter products.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, assisting patients with over-the-counter products, and directing clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
