Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient care across our retail stores. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed, and help manage inventory and distribution under state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide empathetic, patient-focused service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone; assist with immunizations and other services as allowed.
• Assist with basic inventory activities and drug deliveries, returns-to-stocks, and waiting bin inventories.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback; expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed by the business.
