Job summary
Men's Health Foundation is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our West Hollywood team. You will handle patient profiles, process prescriptions, manage insurance coordination, and support sterile and non-sterile compounding practices as required.
Responsibilities include accurate prescription entry, filing, stock reorders, and ensuring compliance with 340B and regulatory standards while delivering excellent patient service in a diverse setting.
Qualifications
- Healthcare experience or education.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid CA Pharmacy Technician license.
- Basic computer and pharmacy system use.
- Spanish language preferred.
- Experience with HIV/sexual health meds beneficial.
- 340B program experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update patient profiles and prescription files.
- Enter prescriptions into electronic system accurately.
- Fill prescriptions and manage auto-refills.
- Prepare packages for shipping and delivery.
- Comply with Board of Pharmacy rules and DEA requirements.
- Assist with insurance and prior authorizations.
