Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient service. The technician will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where permitted, and participate in training and regulatory requirements.

The position emphasizes attendance, teamwork, empathy, and precise handling of prescriptions, inventory, and customer interactions across store locations.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Certified to immunize or willing to be trained to be an immunizer.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure label accuracy and patient safety.
• Customer service and team orientation: help people, be friendly.
• Communication skills: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning: compute prescriptions, days’ supply, and bottle quantities.
• Problem resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions effectively.
• Physical demands: be mobile, lift up to 20 lbs, and maintain visual accuracy.
