Job summary

Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our pharmacy team in Spruce Pine, NC. You will ensure patients receive timely access to medications and act as an extension of our healthcare team during each delivery.

Responsibilities include safe drug deliveries, route navigation, and accurate documentation while upholding professional, courteous patient interactions. A valid driver’s license and clean record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Delivery and/or customer service experience preferred; familiarity with local Western North Carolina routes.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately deliver prescription medications to patient homes and MCHP medical clinics.
• Complete deliveries throughout the county and surrounding areas in a timely and efficient manner.
• Utilize company-provided vehicles and mobile technology to navigate routes, collect signatures, and process payments.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.
• Provide exceptional service during every interaction with patients, families, and staff.
• Represent MCHP with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist patients with questions and communicate effectively with pharmacy staff regarding concerns or issues.
• Operate vehicle safely and comply with all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
• Maintain company vehicle in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
