Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, education on medication use, and cost-effective options for patients in a retail setting.

Responsibilities include delivering immunizations and MTM, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and mentoring team members in a collaborative environment. A current pharmacist license and immunization certification (or plan) are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
