Job summary

Gateway Services is seeking a Client Care Specialist in San Diego to serve veterinary clinics and pet parents with empathy across phone, email, and in-person interactions. You’ll manage service requests, coordinate with Operations, and help ensure a compassionate experience for every family we serve.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred, but we provide training.
• Strong empathy and professionalism in interactions with pet families and clinics.
• Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm in emotionally sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinary clinics and pet parents by phone, email and in person.
• Answer questions with empathy and professionalism.
• Accurately enter service requests and special instructions.
• Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure every promise is fulfilled.
• Support pet parent viewings and order pickups when required.
• Resolve concerns promptly while maintaining customer confidence.
• Help create a compassionate experience for every family we serve.
