Job summary

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship, following each client’s plan of care.

Qualifications

• Prior PCA or caregiving experience preferred.
• Polite, professional, reliable, and effective communicator.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and able to follow instructions.
• Committed to client health and safety.
• Physically capable of performing caregiving duties.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow each client’s plan of care and assigned task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients’ privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
