Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in Martin, GA to support clients with daily living activities in their homes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, errands, and companionship while following each client's plan of care and maintaining safety and privacy. Applicants should have caregiving experience, be compassionate and reliable, and hold CPR and First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Previous Personal Care Assistant or caregiving experience is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and able to follow instructions.
• Committed to client health and safety.
• Physically capable of performing required caregiving duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Current TB test.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients' needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow each client's plan of care and assigned task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients' privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
