Job summary
Nest & Care is seeking compassionate Personal Caregivers to provide high-quality care to clients in Germantown, MD. Join our team to support clients with personal and companion care, following individualized care plans.
The role requires at least 1 year of caregiving experience, reliable attendance, and a valid car with the ability to drive. Work Tue–Fri 10AM–2PM with a competitive salary and training opportunities.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience in agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
- Caregivers with no attendance issues
- Must have a car and be able to drive
- Available Tuesday to Friday from 10AM to 2PM
- Ability to perform personal and companion care (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene)
- Read care plans and assessments to provide care per plan
- Adhere to company policies including dress code and attendance
- Clock in/out on client systems
- Observe changes and notify Nest & Care if needed
Responsibilities
- Provide personal and companion care per the client care plan
- Assist with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene as needed
- Read and follow the client’s care plan for consistent quality care
- Document shifts and adhere to timekeeping and company policies
- Monitor health or behavior changes and report to appropriate personnel
