Job summary

A First Name Basis is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in home settings across multiple states. The role involves direct personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping, with opportunities to travel to client homes.

We value patience, professionalism, and teamwork. Flexible schedules include full-time, part-time, PRN, weekends, and overnight shifts, with an hourly pay rate of $11, plus overtime opportunities and daily pay

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings: background check and drug screen.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.
• Willingness to complete onboarding requirements and competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor changes in client health and report to supervisor.
• Travel to client homes within the service area.
• Document care provided according to standards and complete trainings.
