Alliance Home Care is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver to join our team in Virginia. You will provide personal care, companionship, and help with daily tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable living environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma; prior caregiver experience is not required but preferred. You must be reliable, able to lift and transfer clients, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Aid mobility, transfers, ambulation, and maintain a safe environment.
• Prepare and serve meals per dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry and organization.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises.
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Monitor changes in health or behavior and report to staff.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow safety guidelines.
