Job summary

Paid training is provided. No prior caregiving experience is required, and we welcome dependable team players who are 16 or older and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Pass a background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable, caring, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• As a Personal Care Worker, provide hands-on support while creating a safe, positive, and respectful environment.
• Create a welcoming environment that supports clients’ individual needs, goals, and self-expression.
• Monitor clients and provide support based on their individual needs.
• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hair care, and oral hygiene.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Build positive relationships by learning clients’ routines, preferences, behaviors, and communication styles.
• Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers, managers, and other care team members.
