Job summary

Hand to Hand LLC seeks a dependable Personal Care Assistant to help a female client at home and accompany her to water aerobics at the YMCA. The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, and capable of hands-on care and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities include personal care, transfers, safe mobility, and transportation using the husband’s vehicle, with a focus on safety and companionship to promote an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a responsible driving record.
• Ability to assist with transfers and mobility.
• Experience with personal care, home care, or caregiving is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care, including dressing and clothing changes.
• Provide assistance with transfers, mobility, and positioning.
• Safely support entering and exiting pool area per mobility needs and training.
• Provide transportation to YMCA using the client's husband's vehicle.
• Accompany and assist with water aerobics outings.
• Maintain client comfort, dignity, and safety throughout activities.
• Provide companionship and support as needed.
