Job summary

Vancrest Health Care Centers is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and maintain a clean, safe environment. The role emphasizes quality, compassion, and timely care under nursing supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal and nutritional needs, reporting changes to the charge nurse, ensuring medications are met, and supporting residents’ comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

• Move intermittently throughout the workday and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• STNA not required, but preferred; state test if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents' personal care with quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Addressing residents' medical needs through quality nursing care and reporting to the charge nurse.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant physical environment.
• Ensuring nutritional needs are met per the established care plan and reporting to the appropriate director.
• Performing other related activities as assigned or requested.
• Ensuring residents' medication needs are met.
