Somerset Court of Goldsboro is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and promote independence in a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• State-approved PCA/CNA or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Support residents with ADLs and daily activities to promote independence and dignity.
• Observe and report changes in health or behavior to the nursing team.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas and follow infection control protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies following established procedures.
