Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, transportation, and following each client's plan of care.

Qualifications

• Prior Personal Care Assistant or caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and able to follow instructions.
• Committed to client health and safety.
• Physically capable of performing required caregiving duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Current TB test.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients' needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow each client's plan of care and assigned task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
