Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking compassionate caregivers in Bloomington, IN to provide in-home personal care services to clients. You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed, always prioritizing safety and dignity.

Ideal candidates have HS Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with elderly or disabled individuals. Reliable transportation and strong communication skills are essential; training is provided where

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification required prior to first client contact.
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience).
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
