Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology relevant to personal care.
Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with limited mobility.
Strong understanding of infection control practices.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
Implement infection control procedures to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility policies.
Support residents with limited mobility by safely assisting with transfers and positioning.
Demonstrate good judgment in responding to emergencies and routine care situations.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
