Job summary

Arcadia New England Home Care in Rumford, Maine is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PSS or CNA) to support clients with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, grooming and meal preparation. You will also provide companionship and help improve overall well‑being in a home‑care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, transfers, documenting care, and reporting changes to the nursing team, while following safety protocols and delivering respectful, client‑centered

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year healthcare or related field experience (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transfer clients safely.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care
