MD Pediatric Associates in Texas is seeking an Employed Physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics to deliver comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents. The physician will lead within the care team, collaborating with NPs, RNs, MAs, and staff to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.

You will manage acute and chronic conditions, promote preventive health, participate in community outreach, QA initiatives, and education.

Competenze

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
• Board eligibility in Pediatrics (board certification preferred).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Valid DEA, DPS, and other licenses or certificates required to practice in Texas.
• Completion of CME as required by the Texas Medical Board.
• Maintenance of active board certification.
• Successful completion of MDPA and affiliated hospital credentialing processes.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams and routine well-child checks.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Administer or prescribe medications, vaccinations, therapies, and specialized care.
• Obtain and maintain accurate medical histories, exam findings, and test results in the EHR.
• Order, interpret, and act upon laboratory and diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Counsel patients and families on nutrition, activity, hygiene, development, and prevention.
• Discuss diagnoses, procedures, test results, and treatment plans in understandable terms.
• Refer patients to specialists or other services when needed, and ensure follow-up.
• Supervise and support the clinical team including APPs, nurses, MAs, and patient care coordinators.
• Participate in prenatal education classes, community outreach, and marketing events.
• Attend internal and external clinical meetings, trainings, and conferences as assigned.
• Collaborate in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives and provide occasional in-service training.
• Uphold MDPA’s Code of Conduct and model the Mission, Vision, and Values in practice.
• Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.
