Bon Secours Mercy Health's Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Outpatient Surgery to support the care team. You will provide direct patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse while adhering to safety standards.

This role emphasizes accurate documentation, compassionate patient interactions, and collaboration with the healthcare team to maintain a high level of patient comfort and service.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred.
• Nursing Student with First Clinical Rotation complete or state testing complete required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Record vital signs and document accurately.
• Assist with patient comfort, hygiene, and mobility.
• Serve as liaison between patient and nurse and report changes.
• Maintain professional communication with care team.
