Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient care as part of a collaborative community health team in Poway, CA. This on-site, permanent role offers a competitive annual salary and a supportive environment focused on quality patient care.

You'll administer treatments, supervise staff, and work with nurses and scribes to optimize patient outcomes while meeting licensure requirements and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and board certification in primary care are required.
• California medical license and DEA registration are required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish or English and Arabic strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient primary care to patients across diverse backgrounds.
• Administer or prescribe treatments, medications, immunizations and preventive care plans.
• Conduct physical examinations and assess patient symptoms, medical history and overall health status.
• Order and review tests, diagnostic imaging and clinical findings to guide treatment plans.
• Provide oversight and supervision to advanced practice providers, residents and students as needed.
• Work closely with nurses, medical assistants, scribes and care team members to support patient outcomes.
• Document patient visits, diagnoses, treatment plans and follow-up care accurately and timely.
