Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) on the Med/Surg & Post-Op Surgery unit. You will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support postoperative patients in a Magnet Hospital environment.

The role offers daytime hours from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with rotating weekends, providing opportunities to pursue educational advancement and skills development while starting your nursing career in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through a recognized provider is required or obtained during hire.
• Nursing students must have BLS prior to hire.
• Military experience (HM/68W/4N0X1) will be considered.
• Proficiency in applied mathematics and reading comprehension at an eighth-grade level.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, ADLs, transfers and monitoring.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in condition to RN.
• Help keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
