Job summary

Mint Hill Senior Living is seeking a caring Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment. You will provide compassionate, personalized care and document changes for the nursing team.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and prior caregiving experience. Completion of PCA/CNA training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of PCA/CNA training is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration as needed.
• Observe and report changes in health, behavior, and physical condition to the nursing team; assist with medication reminders.
• Foster positive relationships with residents through companionship and engagement in activities.
• Ensure living areas are clean, safe, and compliant with infection control protocols.
