Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Driver for our nursing center to ensure safe transportation of patients, families and staff to scheduled appointments and activities. You will operate a nursing center vehicle, assist passengers during boarding and alighting, and maintain accurate route and mileage logs.

A current driver’s license with an excellent driving record is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, families and employees to and from the nursing center for approved appointments and activities to pre-determined destinations.
• Operate the nursing center vehicle safely, ensuring all passengers follow safety procedures.
• Assist patients, their families and employees when boarding and disembarking the vehicle.
• Maintain route and mileage logs.
• Monitor and replenish vehicle fuel and other fluids.
• Report any vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the Nursing Home Administrator.
• Interact in a positive manner with patients and families.
