Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support patient transport and bedside care in Louisville, CO. This PRN Day shift role focuses on safe, timely transport and coordination with clinical staff.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS/CPR certification, good communication and organizational skills, and prior nurse assistant experience is preferred. Pay range listed below.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Prior nurse assistant experience preferred.
• Must understand English and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Performs safe and timely transport of patients interdepartmentally and upon discharge.
• Conducts rounds for the delivery and pickup of supplies, records, specimens, x-rays, orders, and equipment.
• Promptly responds to stat calls and meets requests of clinical staff.
• Assists in handling calls regarding violent patients and supports in take down procedures.
• Remains accessible at all times and offers help to alleviate heavy transitional workloads.
• Maintains department stretchers and wheelchairs in patient-ready condition.
