Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience in healthcare food services preferred.
• Food handler’s permit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for diets per planned menu and policies.
• Sanitizes and maintains safety of food prep equipment and area.
• Assists with stocking dietary items for patients and staff.
• Operates dish machine and maintains records of patient diet information.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate communication with patients and families.
• Maintains attendance and supports safety and infection prevention standards.
