Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment before patient care is administered independently.

Responsibilities

• Delivers appropriate care to patients according to needs and population served, including activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Adheres to infection prevention protocols.
• Demonstrates understanding of patient rights, confidentiality, informed consent and privacy.
• Demonstrates adaptability, problem solving and professional behavior.
• Participates in system-wide process improvement to achieve client-centered outcomes.
• Maintains patient charts accurately and neatly.
