Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support physicians and clinicians in a busy outpatient setting in Kentucky. Responsibilities include check-in, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and maintaining patient histories while upholding the organization's mission and values.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and BLS with orientation/externship training within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for navigating confidential databases.
• BLS and other advanced training within 90 days of hire.
• Orientation/externship and additional training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and obtain vital signs (height, weight, BP, pulse, SpO2, temperature).
• Obtain medication reconciliation and patient medical history information.
• Expedite patient flow, room patients, stock clinic with supplies.
• Navigate EPIC and perform non-clinical duties as needed.
