Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed clinicians at Jefferson Health facilities. The role emphasizes patient safety, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with an interprofessional team.

The PCT will perform routine care tasks, assist with supplies, and may act as a virtual safety associate as needed on campus, supporting a patient-centered care approach in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to perform delegated tasks within the role scope.
• Knowledge of personal care and hygiene for quality of life.
• Knowledge of healthcare risks and mitigation steps.
• Ability to collaborate with patients, families and care partners.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and staff.
• Uses partnership language with patients and families to involve them in care.
