Job summary

HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Florida is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our collaborative nursing team. You will support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, monitor patients, assist with daily needs, and contribute to a safe, compassionate environment that restores comfort and dignity for every patient.

The ideal candidate is a High School graduate with Basic Life Support certification and a commitment to teamwork and patient-first care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
