Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients with emphasis on hygiene and comfort.
• Initiate and maintain safety measures and comfort care.
• Support patients, families and visitors in a courteous, ethical manner.
• Monitor oxygen administration, lead placement and point-of-care testing.
• Assist with admission and orient patient to room/equipment.
• Document procedures and treatments per departmental policy.
• Assist with mobilization, discharge prep and patient transport.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the assigned nurse.
