Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Pulaski is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support registered nurses, assist with vital signs, mobility, and daily care, while ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for patients.

You will work as part of a collaborative nursing team, helping monitor conditions and carry out care plans with empathy and efficiency to restore comfort and dignity for every patient.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
