Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CMA to provide routine patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse in Richland Hospital's Moultrie Suite.

You will assist with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and elimination, and you will monitor vital signs and document observations during the Day shift in Richland, SC.

Current CPR Heartsaver required; BLS certification or higher preferred. Prior hospital clerical experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA/CMA course or nursing fundamentals required.
• One year hospital clerical experience preferred.
• Certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, hair washing, brushing teeth).
• Assist with nutrition and feeding; set up meal trays.
• Assist with ambulation and fall prevention under RN supervision.
• Help patients with elimination needs and monitor inputs/outputs.
• Record and report vital signs and alert RN to abnormal values.
