Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our collaborative nursing team. You will support RNs with hands-on care, monitor patients, and help create a safe, compassionate environment for those in our care.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, basic patient care, maintaining clean rooms, and reporting changes to the care team. No travel or prior experience required; CPR/BLS may be needed within 30 days.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keeping patient areas clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
