Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• High school diploma or GED required; patient care training preferred.
• BLS certification required; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Consults with and informs supervisor of unit activities and issues related to patient care.
• Provides basic care to ill patients.
• Performs general nursing tasks such as positioning, transferring, and care of linens.
• Takes and records vital signs and intake/output, documents timely.
